🌳 St. Patrick's Day Parade in Downtown Raleigh, Food Truck Rodeo, and the ACC Tournament Heats Up

Good morning, W.Y.R. neighbors! Or should we say, Happy (early) St. Patrick’s Day!? Plenty of St. Patrick’s Day celebrations all around, but the big one is the 42nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day parade this Saturday in Downtown Raleigh. So wear your best green garb and line the streets to celebrate!

Green not your thing? That’s OK. Check out the Food Truck Rodeo a little further North at the Triangle Town Center.

🍀 Raleigh St. Patrick’s Day Parade
📍 Hillsborough Street (starts near State Capitol), Downtown Raleigh
Saturday, Mar 14 | 10 AM | Free

The 42nd annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade! New route this year — starts at Hillsborough & McDowell, heads west along Hillsborough to Glenwood Ave. Road closures begin at 8 AM, so arrive early for a good spot. After-party at the Hibernian Pub block party with live music, Irish dancers, bagpipers, and Guinness flowing all day.

🏀 ACC Tournament — Duke, UNC & NC State All Playing
📍 Spectrum Center, Charlotte | Thu–Sat, Mar 12–14 | ESPN/ESPN2

The whole Triangle is watching Charlotte this week. Quarterfinals Thursday: Duke (1-seed) plays at 7 PM, UNC (4-seed) at 9:30 PM — both on ESPN. NC State (7-seed) plays at noon. Semifinals Friday night. Championship Saturday at 8:30 PM. Wake Forest already pulled off an upset, beating Virginia Tech in the first round.
