Our kids have been enjoying the few days off from school, and now, as they prepare to go back, we’ve got more snow in the forecast for this weekend! Starting February 1, 2026, Go Wake Forest microtransit trips will cost to ride. Riders will be charged based on the mileage of their trip request:

Fares will be available for purchase through the Go Wake Forest smartphone application, over the phone using the Go Wake Forest customer support hotline, or in person at Town Hall, 301 S. Brooks St., Wake Forest, NC 27587. 

Triangle Restaurant Week (January 26-February 1, 2026) is a week-long celebration of culinary excellence designed to incorporate the premier Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and surrounding area restaurants.

During TRW, participating restaurants offer special three-course menu options and fixed pricing, a great opportunity for residents and visitors alike to indulge in the area’s finest cuisine! No reservations, tickets, or passes required.

Pricing for the event is $15 for a 3-course lunch, and $25 -$50 for a 2-to 3–course dinner. Price is for each person and does not include beverages, tax, or gratuity.
