🐝 Midtown Farmers’ Market – World Honey Bee Day
Saturday, August 16 | 8 AM–12 PM | Midtown Park | Free

This Saturday, the Midtown Farmers’ Market will be buzzing as we celebrate World Honey Bee Day with The Pleasant Bee and over 35 local vendors. Beginning at 9 AM, enjoy bee-themed activities for the whole family—kids can get creative at the coloring station, pick up free pollinator seed packets and honey sticks, and chat with real beekeepers during the Ask a Beekeeper Q&A. Don’t miss the live observation hive, where you can watch bees in action and learn how these tiny pollinators help keep our food supply thriving.
About World Honey Bee Day:
Observed every third Saturday in August, this day honors the honey bee’s vital role in pollination and agriculture. It’s a chance to raise awareness about protecting these essential creatures—because a world without bees would mean fewer flowers, fruits, and vegetables.
Come for the honey, stay for the community, and leave inspired to help the bees!
